The Graduate Record Exam ®

Test Description: This test measures examinees’ verbal, quantitative and analytical skills that you have developed over a long period of time in your education and work. It is given in a computer-based format only. The verbal and quantitative sections are multiple-choice. The format of the analytical section is essay.

Test Dates: This exam is given several times per month. These dates are scheduled at various times to accommodate examinee class and work schedules. You can obtain a list of test dates by calling Testing Services at (479) 575-2743.

Test Fees: The cost of the GRE is $160. You may pay the fee with a major credit card or with a check payable to ETS-GRE.

Registration: You may take the General Test only once per calendar month and no more than five times within any 12-month period. This applies even if you canceled your scores on a test taken previously.
