The Praxis Series
Teacher Licensure and Certification

The Praxis Series™ assessments provide educational tests and other services that states use as part of their teacher licensure and certification process. The Praxis I® tests measure basic academic skills, and the Praxis II® tests measure general and subject-specific knowledge and teaching skills.

ID Requirement: For examinees testing within their country of citizenship (American students) any government-issued identification such as passport, driver's license, state ID, and military ID are all acceptable. If you are not testing in your own country of citizenship, you MUST bring your passport in order to be tested. Please note that student IDs alone will not allow admittance to the exam.

Test Preparation: You may visit the ETS website for official test prep materials or check the Campus Bookstore or your local bookstore for materials.

Online Praxis Registration

 

Praxis - Computer-delivered Test

Registration: Examinees may register for a computer-delivered Praxis test online.

Test Fees: The computer-delivered Praxis fees are available on the ETS website.

Test Dates: Computer Delivered Praxis series Tests are given on campus three to five times per month. Registration closes three days prior to each test date, but space is limited so register early. Visit ETS.org for available test dates and testing windows.

 

Praxis - Paper Delivered Test

Registration: You may register for the Praxis I or II paper based test through the ETS Online Registration System or by mailing in a Registration Form before the deadline.

Test fees: Paper Based fees are available on the ETS Web-site.

Test Dates:The Paper-delivered Praxis tests are given six to seven times per year. All tests may not be available for every test date. Check ETS.org for paper-delivered test dates and deadlines.
