TOEFL iBT

Test Description: The TOEFL iBT measures skills in reading, listening, speaking and writing, and requires you to combine 2 or more of these skills to respond to a question. For example, you might read a passage or listen to a lecture in English, and then write or speak your answers in English.

Eligibility: The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) measures the ability of nonnative speakers of English to use and understand North American English as it is used in college and university settings. Scores on the test are required by more than 5,000 two- and four-year colleges and universities (including the University of Arkansas), professional schools, and sponsoring institutions in over 90 countries. (Taken from the ETS TOEFL website.)

ID Requirement: For examinees testing within their country of citizenship (American students) any government-issued identification such as passport, drivers license, state ID, and military ID are all acceptable (one must contain a recent photo and signature). If you are not testing in your own country of citizenship, you MUST bring your passport in order to be tested.
