GRE

Test Description

This test measures examinees verbal, quantitative and analytical skills that you have developed over a long period of time in your education and work. It is given in a computer-based format only. The verbal and quantitative sections are multiple-choice. The format of the analytical section is essay.

Test Schedule

This exam is given several times throughout the month, typically on Wednesday and Saturday. You can obtain a list of test dates by visiting the GRE website and creating an account.

Registration

You may take the General Test only once per calendar month and no more than five times within any 12-month period. This applies even if you canceled your scores on a test taken previously.

GRE General Test at Home

ETS is temporarily offering a GRE General Test at home option. The test is identical in content, format and on-screen experience to the GRE General Test taken at a test center. It is taken on your own computer at home and is monitored by a human proctor online through ProctorU®. Visit ets.org for more information on GRE General Test at Home.

Graduate School of Business Deadlines

It is recommended that the GRE be taken at least one month prior to the application deadline. Upon completion of the exam, you will receive your unofficial score report. Please email gsb@walton.uark.edu to determine if your score falls within admissibility range. You must wait one month before retesting.
